This custom home started as a speculative house I designed and was then purchased prior to construction, so the house was redesigned to meet the owner’s needs. The house is 5000 square feet between the first & second floors, with another 3000 square feet of possible living space on the lower level. The first and second floor both have master bedroom suites, & a bonus room above the garage. This quality construction Colonial home has a sophisticated, contemporary flair with handcrafted details, including two story great room to the back of the house complete with a wrap-around balcony and gas fireplace.

Process
The developer couldn’t part with the house after it was built so he made it his home.
Custom designed to fit the particular lot.
The angled 3 car garage allows for a more formal entry.
The builder had his son custom build all of the millwork.
The Italian roots of the builder are reflected in the extensive tile work in all of the bathrooms.
A large office was added above the garage for his personal use.
A work out gym was added to the basement complete with a steam room for the sore muscles.
The rear great room is surrounded by a balcony for spectacular view of the rear of the house.
